John Blazier - Development Cooridator
My Goal: Build lasting relationships with organizations, individuals, families and business owners. We live in a world of uncertainty, constant change and a multitude of financial needs that, if left unattended, can cause very serious consequences. My goal is to connect with and introduce individuals, families, and business owners, to our firm where Integrity Leads and Trust follows.
John has lived in the Crystal Lake since 1964. As a graduate of Crystal Lake Community High School in 1976, John earned letters in Football, Wrestling, and Track. In 1976 John attended Milton College where he lettered in Football. He later transferred to Carthage College where he majored in P.E. and Health, was a member of Delta Omega Nu fraternity, and participated in Wrestling and Football. Interestingly, John played football with Dave Krieg who spent 19 years as an NFL Quarterback.
After college in 1979, John spent many years in the insurance industry. He then spent numerous years in Sales and Sales Management with Chemlawn Corporation, The Northwest Herald, Centegra Health System, KRW Insurance and Lowes. John invested in a few business ventures along the way. Then in 2011 John became the Business Development Ambassador for a successful local financial firm. During this time he was very active and engaged in 5 chambers and numerous organizations and community events. John is the uncle of Fraser Wealth President, Tim Fraser so when an opportunity presented itself to unite with family, John was very excited. The Fraser and Blazier families go back 43 years, so this was a match made in heaven.
Through his time spent assisting and serving those in need in our community John has built many lasting relationships that he treasures. John is an outstanding connector who is always willing to connect you with someone to help you with your business. John’s diverse experience, make him an invaluable asset to Fraser Wealth Management and the McHenry County community. You could best describe John as having a passion for fitness, faith, family, and community. John is active at the First United Methodist Church in Crystal Lake. Past mission trips, small groups and bible studies have brought great value and joy to John. John is on the Sage YMCA Corporate Challenge Committee, current marketing committee and past board member for TLS Veterans, former Big Brothers Big Sisters “Big Brother”, past speaker and supporter of CASA where he was a guest speaker at the “Light of Hope” Annual Breakfast sharing his foster care adoption story. John has lead United Way office campaigns, Heartland Blood campaigns and many Salvation Army “Red Kettle” campaigns during Christmas. You can also on occasion see John with local musicians playing drums at various events or charities such as the Raue Center. John loves music, especially rhythm and blues!
